A Home Away From Home

We understand that leaving your pet when you go out of town can be stressful, especially if they are sick or recovering from a procedure or surgery. We want to put your mind at ease at All Animal Clinic.

We offer complete general pet boarding services to all of our patients, as well as medical boarding for pets with medical conditions that standard boarding facilities may not be able to handle.

Cat at Pet Boarding for Cats & Dogs in Leighton Vet

Boarding: A Typical Day

Dog Boarding

Before breakfast, the dogs go outside to our outdoor run for some fresh air. Their kennels are cleaned, disinfected, and restocked with fresh linens while they are outside.

We walk the dogs who stay with us regularly, depending on their physical capacity and ability.

Your dog will be supervised throughout his or her stay with us, both on walks and when they are resting. Dinner is served in the evening, and then we go for one last walk before bedtime.

Cat Boarding

Your cat will be fed according to your instructions and their needs, ensuring that they follow the same routine as they do at home.

We provide daily one-on-one interaction with kitties, including play, snuggles, and pets (if they want it!). Throughout the day, litter boxes are checked, cleaned, and disinfected.

We also change the linens and clean your cat's room daily. Our cat boarding area is separated from the dog boarding area to ensure that your kitty is comfortable and safe while staying with us.

Exotics & Large Animals

At All Animal Clinic, we can board large and exotic pets. We have several different-sized kennels and runs for these pets. Please contact one of our staff at  (256) 446-8888 to learn more and confirm availability.

Medical Pet Boarding

Our expert veterinarians and nurses will look after your pet and administer medications while keeping a close eye on them. Any medications that your pet requires will be given to them on the same schedule that they are used to at home.

  • How should I prepare for my pet's stay?

Each animal is different. To prepare for your pet's stay with us, we'll take the following steps to ensure that we can meet their unique needs.

Step 1: Contact us to get started

Call us to book, and to discuss details about your pet and your boarding needs. A member of our team will be happy to coordinate your booking.

Please note that, due to the nature of our accommodations, we do not accept unaltered dogs. Pets must be up to date with all vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks to stay at our facility.

Step 2: Book a trial stay

We want to be sure that we are a good fit for your pet before an extended stay. The trial stay consists of a full day of daycare where we can take the time to assess your pet's temperament and make sure they fit in with the pack.

Step 3: Set your pet up for success

On the day you drop your pet off with us, there are a few steps you can take to help reduce any stress your pet may feel.

Spend some extra time with your pet beforehand, and make sure they get some vigorous exercise so that they are feeling calm. When you arrive at our facility, stay calm, cheerful, and confident during the separation.
